  All my dahlias were full of buds, everything was looking like it was going to explode into bloom any time. Had a family emergency. These ‘Dinner Plate’ Dahlias will certainly create the wow factor either in the garden or on the show bench. Giants produce flowers usually over mm or 10″ in diameter but can get to mm or 15″. The large varieties have flowers between mm (8″) and mm (10″) . Perfect for small gardens or container display, Single Dahlias include the highly prized dark-leaved Dahlias with their masses of stunning flower colors which contrast strikingly with their deep mahogany to black foliage. Effect in the garden guaranteed! There are hundreds of Mignon and Single Dahlias (!!!).

HOW TO GROW DAHLIAS FROM CUTTINGS? Dahlias are easily propagated from basal cuttings. In the spring once the tuber has started sprouting, select strong, healthy shoots about cm (3in) long and remove them with a clean, sharp knife along with a small portion of the parent tuber.
